Katherine Napier
Katie has dedicated her life to the equine world, growing up immersed in a family passionate about horses. With a mother who is an equine veterinarian and a father who is a skilled horse trainer, Katie developed a deep understanding of the care and training required to help horses thrive. Growing up, Katie spent much of her time at Blue Ribbon Downs observing the ins & outs of the horse racing industry. She refined her knowledge further by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University & then continuing her education further by earning her Master’s Degree in Public Service.
Her equestrian journey began with a foundation in both English and western riding, but her current focus is on breakaway roping, where she competes in rodeos & jackpots primarily across Oklahoma, Arkansas & Texas with hopes to soon purchase her WPRA permit. Alongside her husband, a PRCA bullfighter & steer wrestler, Katie also trains young rope horse prospects, combining her extensive experience and lifelong passion for the industry. Now, she’s expanding her expertise into equine insurance, bringing her insider knowledge to help horse owners protect their investments and companions.
