Sheri Padgett
Sheri was born and raised in Virginia and came from a non-equestrian family, she found her passion for horses early on. She spent every free moment after school and on weekends at the local hunter/jumper barn, cleaning stalls, tack, and braiding manes in exchange for her board and entry fees. She competed in the hunter/jumper circuit well into her late twenties—until the birth of her daughter inspired a major shift.
She pivoted completely, diving headfirst into the world of barrel racing and relocating out west to Oklahoma. For the next 15 years, she embraced barrel racing, and the show cattle industry with her daughter and husband.. After two additional years in Texas, Sheri returned to Virginia to be closer to loved ones.
Today, she lives in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley with her husband Michael, and their two spirited Jack Russells, Tuffy P and Letty Jane.
Sheri continues to barrel race with her daughter and now her new granddaughter Laramie Skye. Horses have always been such a huge part of her life and she is excited to expand in the equine industry and help others with their equine insurance needs.
